چکیده

Using the Nambu–Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model we study responses of the pion and kaon masses to changes in the chemical potential, ∂m ∂μ , at zero and finite chemical potential. We find that the behavior of ∂m ∂μ for the pion is quite different from that for the kaon. Our results can give a clue for future studies of ∂m ∂μ on the lattice.

We examine the process of formation of the gaugino condensation within a Nambu-Jona-Lasinio type approach. We construct an effective Lagrangian description for the gaugino condensation which include a Weyl compensator superfield whose vacuum expectation value is related to the gaugino condensation. We present preliminary evidence of BCS diquark condensation in the 3 + 1 dimensional Nambu–Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model at non-zero chemical potential (μ) on the lattice. Large N results are used to match the model’s parameters to low energy, zero density phenomenology. A diquark source j is added in a partially quenched approximation to enable the measurement of lattice diquark observables. In par...

We compute the off-forward diagonal (non-skewed) non-singlet generalized parton distribution of the pion in two distinct chiral quark models: the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with the Pauli-Villars regulator and the Spectral Quark Model. The analysis is carried out in the impact-parameter space. Leading-order perturbative QCD evolution is carried out via the inverse Mellin transform in the index sp...
